Hux turned a bright red and glared at the other, mumbling softly, "The credits are all the same. I made sure we had plenty of credits before we left... Are you seriously going to buy me something?"

he nodded and hummed. “pick something?”

He looked like he wanted to protest, but the merchant spoke up, smiling, "Pick anything you'd like, pretty miss. I'm sure your husband would love to spoil you." Hux sighed and began to say, "He's not my... Ugh, fine." He glanced over the table of jewelry before he picked out a rather extravagant looking necklace. It had several diamonds in it, and he gently picked it up, mumbling, "This one."

he smirked and nodded, paying the vendor and moving to help hux get it on. “i like how you didn’t correct him on you but the fact he thought we were together.” he mumbled in his ear, smirking.

He admired the fancy necklace around his neck for a moment before hearing Kylo. Going red to the tips of his ears, Hux said softly, huffing, "J-Just because if people think I'm a woman it's easier for them not to recognize me."

he snickered. “sure, sure~”

"You're the one who got your 'wife' a necklace." He said, still blushing furiously and glaring ahead.

he chuckled and kep moving, humming.

He kept moving as well, occasionally glancing at the stalls and things they passed by in the town. He didn't notice it at first, since he wasn't really listening to what the merchants were saying, but then it became clear that some of the jewelry vendors were yelling at him, saying cheerfully, 'hey, pretty lady! Why don't you let your husband buy you something as beautiful as you?'. He turned a deep red, hoping Kylo wouldn't hear them.
