Wow that's horrible I'm so sorry.

My mom's a veteran who suffers from PTSD and BPD.  Its so bad she had to get a service dog. She gets her medication through the VAs system and they constantly are late or they send her the wrong kind which is very dangerous to her health physically and mentally. Veterans with PTSD are talked down to and treated horribly all the time in the name of cutting costs or just pure laziness. My mom's friend went in to talk to them and they literally told the guy to get out. It's a crooked system for sure.

My grandfather was in the military but he didn't spend any time fighting. He worked on aircraft, instead. However, he said he had a friend who was in the military who got schizophrenia (hearing gunfire and people shouting) and had to be admitted to a mental hospital.

ahh i don't have any experience knowing people in the military/with ptsd so i don't know what to say to all of you other than i'm sorry for anything they/you are going through or have been through
