It was a few hours later and Gabriel hadn’t woken up yet. During that time, Jack had gone to pick Gabriel up some new pairs of clothes and some stuff for the second bathroom so Gabriel could use it. Along with some other small food items to restock the fridge. He had put everything away before looking at the clock. It was getting a bit late. Hey may as well go wake up Gabriel and then make him some food.

Jack moved down the hall, stopping beside the room. He knocked on the door and then slowly opened it. He glanced over at Gabriel

Gabe was fast asleep, snoring softly from where he was laying on his stomach, hugging his pillow

Jack watched Gabriel for a while. He looked..,Peacefuk like that. Jack couldn’t help but to think of how cute Gabe looked. Jack frowned, quickly pushing back those thoughts. He then moved in. “...Gabriel?” Jack asked, watching him. He moved over, resting a hand on his shoulder lightly

have, as soon as he felt the hand, shot out of bed, standing straight and saluting. “shit- fuck-!” he said and paused. “wait.. what..?” he said and looked around. “oh. right. hi!” he greeted.

Jack quickly drew his hand away, taking a step back at Gabe’s sudden movements. He froze for a momemt before relaxing. “Ah, fuck. Sorry Gabe. Didn’t mean to startle you like that.” Jack said

he blinked. “no, no, it’s done. i just always slept past the alarm, so.. i was expecting the drill sergeant.”

He blinked, smiling. “Well I’m certainly not drill sergent material, so dong worry about that.” Jack said. “I just figured I’d get you up since I’ll be making dinner in a few minutes.” Jack mrmured

he blinked and smiled slightly. “oh. thanks.” he said softly.

He nodded. “I’ll be out in the kitchen.” He said. He then turned, heading out of the room

he nodded and stretched, sighing. he eventually moved into the kitchen and hummed. “please tell me you’ve learned how to properly season good.” he said.
