well, echo used to live in the captors, and before that they lived in a traveling troupe, and were kicked out, but they aren't in the captors 'cause of the attack, and that j is dead... so they're kinda lost...

i mean i was thinking some ships captain picked them up, and echo traded labor for passage? would that work? (side note, my sinus's are like so stuffy)

well, echo is a very productive child. so if they were ferried in, they'd do their best to just like start being productive right off the bat. (though they'll be sad, 'cause j is dead, and j was their friend.) truthfully i'm just trying to figure out a timeline for them and when that's done i'll get some sort of joiningish thread in.

i was wondering though, how would hannibal react to a small 10(+-) year old serious child appearing.

awww hannibal! echo would be so happy to be taken under a wing. they're suppper innocent though, and just smol, sweet, and kind. they don't agree with most violence...

i was wondering, could echo perhaps  be some kind of cupbearer/valet to hannibal? they really like feeling useful, despite their lack of interest towards weaponry and such.

Also, on the note of how a character is joining and how they're going to fit in, I have no idea how Sporus is going to do in Carthage. I feel like he's not going to be very well liked because he's very combative and angry and not in the productive way but in the "I have something to prove." Kind of way. That and he has a lot of baggage and he's... Kind of an asshole I don't know. Oof

He just understands that it’s sometimes necessary. But I mean. IDK how Hannibal would deal with the idea of having a valet, but if Echo really wanted to seem useful, he’d 100% give them small tasks and stuff to do as a sort of. IDK. Apprentice or something.

Well, I mean. Hannibal’s middle brothers who still haven’t been adopted (neither have. Any of the HPs actually) are probably somewhat angry in that sense, and Hannibal harbours that streak, so. IDK. Maybe him and Sporus might get on?
