Jesse shifted. “No thank you.” Jesse whispered. Jack looked him over before sighing. He then knealt down in front of Jesse.

“Hey...I’m sorry Jesse. I didn’t mean to come off as rude or that we didn’t want you. It’s just dangerous here and I don’t want to see you getting hurt.” He said. “But...You’ll Be safe with Gabriel. Just listen to him and follow his orders when he tells you to do something, alright?” Jack asked.

“Yes sir.” Jesse said, nodding. Jack smiked.

“Good.” He said, ruffling his hair. He then stood back up, leaving the room.

Gabe handed jesse a plate with two tacos. "you want to know something funny about jack?"

Jesse blinked, grabbing the plate. He then moved over, standing on his toes to make him a bit taller so he could set the plate on the table before sitting down on the chair. He then glanced at Gabe. “What?” He askes.

he smiled. "he sleeps with a teddy bear named mr. fluffed." he said and pat the kids he'd.

Jesse suddenly laughed, looking at him. “Really?” He asked. He smiled. “...Or is that just your nickname?” He asked playfully. He froze and his smile fell slightly. “Oh, I...I’m sorry sir. I...I shouldn’t have asked that.” Jesse whispered, looking down.

he burst into laughter, covering his mouth. "no. im mr.snuggles." he said and ruffled his hair gently.

Jesse seemed to relax. He smiled softly. “...You two are a couple right?” Jesse asked, looking up at him.

he nodded. "yeah. boyfriends." he said and hummed. "we've been together for.. a few months now. we were friends for much longer than that."

"Oh." Jesse said, watching him. "...Well, you two seem like a cute couple. You have a lot of disagreements though." He murmured.

he hummed. "only because he's technically still my boss." he said.
