devon dakota fenton — tv taught me how to feel, now real life has no appeal

— i accidentally forgot to put him into my gallery oh no

— devon was born somewhere on the canadian border, but lives in los angeles.
— he's twenty-six years old, and was born january 11th, making him an aquarius.
— devon identifies as bisexual, finding no particular preference between the genders.
— about 6'3/'4 (it's been a while since he's measured), devon is mostly noticeable by height. he's thin shouldered, and about average weight for a skinny kid. his eyes are a distinctive dark blue, rimmed with slight shadows and dark eyelashes. he has dark brown hair that's kinda.. magical, in the sense that it's really, really floofy and somehow manages to look good most of the time.
— devon is a fairly classy dresser, he has a strange love of hawaiian dad shirts, bright silver bomber jackets (or just bomber jackets in general), or just a plain-patterned shirt. on special occasions, he goes for something really cool like an all black suit.
— apathetic, annoyed, concerned, quiet, intelligent, classy, fearful, eloquent, polite, deadpan, dramatic
— diagnosed with depression and depersonalization disorder
— has a habit of staying up till five am that's more like "i'm disassociating and i can't watch myself fall asleep so im gonna lay in bed"
— devon is the oldest of seven siblings. his parents are fantastic, (a little quirky) but generally nice, easy-going people who just want what's best for their kids. the fenton family hasn't really had a lot of in-family drama, everyone tends to stay close.
— loves doctor who with a fiery, burning passion, if you wanna watch him experience emotion just watch doctor who
— super good at accents? fancy old pompous british man, Dad Jokes Accent, 50s news broadcaster the liST GOES ON
— has a fantastic gift and that gift is turning his life into a musical over the most mundane things
— if you want a good babysitter, go to devon. he is a dad.
— he plays the rhyming game with himself (which probably helps his daily musical habit)
— once when he was babysitting his siblings one of them got super annoying so he put them on top of their fridge and they stayed there
— has only one love, that's bagels
— not that fond of christmas
— fu n fact he has the ability to care about stuff somewhere deep inside but he doesn't wanna watch someone he cares about jump off a roof because he couldn't pay attention so he cuts himself off from others which just makes his depression + dpd worse so he feels even more apathetic than he already is woooo
— devon has always been a muted kid, his emotions just aren't as strong as others in general, and recent events + his own need to cut off emotions just kinda deaden it, so yeah he's basically this one big old sad shade of grey
— he finds that if he does feel stronger emotions, he can't really control them. they scare him, and when his girlfriend died was the first time he really experienced a strong, wide range of emotions and he didn't know how to handle them. he doesn't like strong emotions
— i don't think he physically can cry. he doesn't really cry when he's sad or hurting, and if he does, it's very emotionless and not easily noticeable
— if you see him, he's probably disassociating
— as someone with siX younger siblings, he's learned some things about being a good big brother, and uhh yeah he probably shows the most love towards them
— was the King of Drama at his high school. as in, the drama club. imagine hanging out with a guy for the first month of school and seeing no emotions coming out from him aside from utter apathy, and then watch him audition as the king of france who's trying to imitate a russian man reciting shakespeare.
— i think he sees emotions as just another act, which is why he's so good at acting and stuff. he doesn't quite have his own ideas or opinions on that general subject, and so he studies others, and uses it for acting.
— he has a fantastic instagram aesthetic look at this
— he has a really fast sense of humor, and it's deadpan and sarcastic and self-aware, it's like,,, rlly funny
— self-aware about the whole "literally dead inside" thing, he can't do anything about it
— tw: suicide the love of his life killed herself and devon was unfortunately both witness to it, and unable to do anything about it. it's really shaken him up badly since then (obviously) and it's taken a lot for him to even step away from the idea that he was part of the guilty party.
— tw: murder there's an au where he bashes the head of his brother in and runs away and changes his name to cain, what an upstanding model
