╾ jody has been twenty-two for a very long time. he made the mistake of visiting delphi about five years ago, turns out jody was chosen to be the next oracle since like, birth. he can't age or die until the next oracle shows itself to him.
╾ his predecessor (a woman named jasmine who only spoke broken english) tried to explain what she could to him before the power transferred (jasmine didn't die luckily, but now spends her time back home not speaking english and trying to get used to growing older), but he had to figure out mostly everything else for himself.

- don't tell jody but,,,, she knows english really well she really just didn't want him to stick around for too long this girl needed a brEAK
- she's been oracle since ,,,, about 1000 ad and she doesn't enjoy the amount of human history she's gone through. her family ended up moving into greece when she was 14 (that was a long time ago), and she became the oracle a little after she turned 20. she's "25" right now.
- she ended up trapped in a cave for a few hundred years?? that really sucks
- she's predicted all the awful events for almost a thousand years, let her be bitter
- she can't touch snakes, she can't get near them
- getting old is so odd to her - she's used to not eating because her body didn't need it. now, she does need it and it's quite odd
