- was also called weird sometimes growing up. sure, most everyone on the island loved the water, but she was basically obsessed with it. the kids found it weird that instead of playing with friends she would just go and sit in the water all day. for awhile she tried her best to avoid going to beach, but every time she did she was subconsciously end up at the waters edge again, it's like she's meant to be there. she's learned to embrace it now though.
