niara is often suspicious of others' motives, and keeps her circle incredibly close because of her distrust of others. she's family-oriented, and while she loves her father and her siblings, it will take a long time for them all to gain her trust. her twin brother, however, is her one and only 100% confidant, the one person she trusts with everything- including her own life. she is fierce and is completely willing and capable to start fights or finish them. she can be pretty judgmental, usually silently, but if she feels its important, she'll speak her mind, something she's never been afraid to do. she is possessive, almost scarily so- and incredibly hostile whenever someone so much as looks at one of her siblings or friends wrong. they may all be half-siblings, but they're still her blood, and she'll fight for them.

appearance: an incredibly short guy who didn't seem to get lucky when it came to genes for height-- standing at only 5'5, he doesn't look too intimidating. his hair is rather short and his skin is rather pale, though it's rare for him to be seen without a blemish or two upon his milky-white skin, whether it's an injury or just some sort of dirt. he's usually found wearing plain t-shirts, worn jeans, and combat boots, favoring function over fashion, with goggles hanging around his neck and countless sort of trinkets usually on hand.
personality: august is one who would rather ask questions than begrudgingly accept something- he's an inquisitive young man obsessed with creation and inquiry, and won't accept facts until he's tried them himself. he's a smart-aleck, and rather competitive, and likes to be the best in everything he does, though he consequently doesn't seem to be good at anything specifically. he's easily bored and constantly needs to distract himself, and enjoys taking charge-- "if it can't be done right, i'll do it myself."
