appearance • will is a stunning young man. With a chiseled jawline and high cheekbones, he used to get just about every girl he laid eyes on. His hair is a golden brown color, and has a slight curl to it. While he used to dress to impress, he tends to wear more comfortable clothing now, though he still makes sure his outfits at least match.
personality • will has always been a go getter. His dreams go as high as the offices he worked in, touching the clouds. He graduated from college twice, with three different degrees; a double major in business and financing, and another of management. He was always so intelligent, and a hard worker. He's always been very stubborn, even more so after the accident. He doesn't take no for an answer unless it comes from RJ himself. He has such a big heart that is capable of so much love, but recently he's been quite shut off from it, hating just about every minute of every day. He's not a bad person; he may have been a snob before, and he may be bitter now, but he's got a genuinely good soul. He just needs someone to find it again.
history • will was born in a smaller part of England, while his family was on holiday. He had come a month too early, and they had not been ready at all. He grew up in a castle, practically; his family owned a museum, which happened to be an old castle, and they lived on the grounds in a newer, but sill very old, building. He absolutely loved life, and spent every moment living it to its fullest. He rode horses, went on adventures, became a wonderful entrepreneur, and had intentions of getting married and becoming a father. It should have been expected that none of that would last.
At the age of twenty six, he accidentally stepped into traffic and was hit by a motorbike. In that moment, his entire world changed. On the icu for weeks, the doctors didn't think he was going to wake up. They feared he'd suffered on much brain damage, and that his body had just given up. As it were, only one of those statements were true. Will did wake up, but a large part of him wished he never had. He would no longer be the will Kingston that everyone envied. No, now he was no more than an invalid, someone who shouldn't be alive. His suffered many injuries; seventeen of his bones had broken, including two in his back; he suffered severe spinal cord damage between the C4 and C5 vertebrae, leaving most of his body without motion or feeling, with no hope of recovery.
When he finally was able to transfer out of the intensive care unit, his girlfriend came to visit. She broke up with him; she must have only been with him for his successes. None of his friends came to visit, not a single one. He had been left with a body that didn't work and nobody to support him.
He eventually left the hospital. Unfortunately, there was no way he could live in his childhood home. The halls were too narrow, and there were two flights of stairs. His family renovated the annex that was attached to the house, a one floor building with open spaces a that could easily accommodate this new life. His parents hired an assistant; a bloke from Australia names Robert John, but insisted on being called RJ. He became will's only friend, and will came to depend on him for just about everything in his life. He had seen just about every aspect of will, and it had taken a long while for him to be comfortable with the baths and the bag changes and the teeth brushing.
Of course, RJ could only do so much. With several other patients throughout the day, will was left alone for quite some time. He was very depressed, and had tried to take his life on more than one account. His parents decided they needed another caregiver. Someone who wasn't so clinical; a breath of fresh air. They needed someone to bring will out of his own mind, to make him love life once more. Even if he didn't think of this as his life anymore.
