hey everyone! whilst 2020 had brought unprecedented challenges to us, there were times where we all, around the world, participated in trends! what trends did you guys participate in? were there any that you particularly enjoyed?
i totally gave the classic egirl curtain streaks a go but my hair was too dark so i eventually dyed it darker! hm, i watched tiger king (and learned the carole baskin song from tiktok afterwards shh). what about whipped coffee? did anyone try it? i did and my hands were sO sore afterwards from whisking the coffee, and then i didn't even like the coffee in the end! so, needless to say, i never tried it again GHFJKL
what trends did you guys participate in? please tell me at least someone made sourdough bread GHJKKJL
btw, i am so sorry for just how late this is wow. i totally let this slip my mind.

I watched Avatar the last airbender when it rose in popularity again, and I watched clone high too. I'm really glad I did! I also watched tiger king which was really fun, and my parents even dressed as joe exotic and a tiger.
[align=center][div style="width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12px; font-family: times new roman; letter-spacing: .6px; color: #494949;"]i actually didn't participate much in trends surprisingly FGHJ other than the watching of tiger king at the start, which was so fucking wild. i really liked all of the fun hair trends, like the colored curtain strips, but i'm always too much of a chicken to try out anything like fun hair colors ): but maybe eventually!

there had been so many downs throughout 2020, but we want to focus on the ups it had! what was the most positive thing to come out of 2020 for you? what are the happy memories you will look back on when you think of it?
one of my favorite memories was probably getting my families kittens this year! we got three little boys that we named fuzzlebee (no backstory for this name, it was just my brother's idea SKDKDGSV) , smoke 2.0 (our other family cat passed away a bit before we got the boys, and her name was smoke, he looked so much like her as a kitten so we named him after her!) , and then link (he is my babie so i named him, which is after link from the legend of zelda)! they have been a big highlight throughout the year, and has helped me remain positive!
i also met some great new friends this year, and was able to still be around BB, which i'm happy about because being able to write ( even though my activity is sometimes Bad) was a big help throughout this weird year!

Ooo for me, a highlight was definitely getting back into roleplaying. It's really sparked my muse for writing, and I think I'm going to integrate a lot of Salem's personality into a character I'm writing for my novel! (that was the original purpose for me to get back into roleplaying, to get ideas for my novel! I'm sticking around though obviously because i love it here)
I also was able to connect with a group of friends virtually, and I probably wouldn't have been able to do so if we weren't all using voice and video chat so much, which was one nice silver lining. The group has become one of my closest friend groups and they've also been a giant highlight!
Finally, I'm super thankful that before the pandemic hit I was able to get my nose pierced!
1/1/21, New Years Day (part two)
So on this thread we've talked a lot about 2020 and what we've done during the year, but what about the future? I want to know what resolutions or goals you guys have for 2021, or what you hope happens this year!
I really want to start eating healthier and get a better handle on my anxiety! I'm like a sugar addict so that will be easier said than done. I also hope, like everyone else, that with the vaccine coming out COVID cases start decreasing and we can start seeing people in person again, even if it doesn't involve physical contact quite yet. I also hear from my top choice college in late January, so I'm hoping that I get in there!

[div style="text-align: justify;width:400px;margin: 0 auto;line-height:14px;font-family: arial;font-size:9pt"]okay, i feel terribly seen with that whipped coffee statement alksdfjds i could never seem to get it to the right consistency, even if i used a hand mixer to speed up the process. i got it kinda close once? but same as you, i didn't really like it so i never made it again
i also watched tiger king with my partner after they convinced me it would be a great rollercoaster. i think that's it for trends honestly? i haven't made much food and at most i split dyed my hair, but i don't know if i'd really count that as a 2020 trend hehe
as for positive things that have come out of 2020, the two i can think of are me finally declaring a major for uni and getting started on that! and, as cheesy as it is, i got together with my partner ;w; all the way back in march! so hehe better times by far. overall, i'm just glad that so far, everyone i know has not been affected by covid :,) i do be missing' my friends tho
going forward, there's a lot i want to work on. mainly trying to stay on top of my school work as best i can, especially with chinese as i really want to learn it even thought i'm very slow when it comes to picking it up :,) i also want to work on my health but in a slightly different way than just working out and such, though that is something i want to do! i just have other health issues so i really want to work on getting help for those as well as fixing my sleep schedule and eating habits to make them easier to deal with (which i have been slacking on whoops hehe)

[align=center] okAY i didn't see this thread until now and i rlly want to answer all of the questions even though i'm late so sjdfgkfsk here we go!!
— i spent my first christmas with my boyfriend! we mostly gave each other clothes and candy. i even got our kitten some new toys <33 christmas eve was just me, him, and my parents and we went out to see christmas lights which is my family's usual tradition but it was fun to finally include my bf.
— boy oh boy.... trends....
well i was on an animal crossing kick for a while before i totally forgot about it LMAO, we also got a bunch of streaming services like disney+ and hbo max... i finally watched the mandalorian and it was soooo good. also same with atla, we binged that and watched legend of korra!
y'know what, i never got around to watching tiger king. some day i will but idk why, i'm just too lazy!
— something positive that came out of 2020 was passing my classes! switching to online was hard, i'm sure most of y'all can attest to that, but i'm glad that i didn't give up. my first (and only) niece was born in march so i officially became an auntie. i also landed my first job which i'll be starting on monday!
also @ cas, i can relate to the whole roleplaying thing as well! rp is one of my main hobbies and my muse has definitely had its highs and lows but i truly enjoy fleshing out characters and writing with my friends so i'm glad i could fall back on it.
— i have a few goals for 2021?? one is eating healthier/exercising. i feel like i really took having gyms for granted, bc i don't have any workout equipment now so i'll have to make my own routine which is already hard. i really would like for my bf and i to get into shape together, since it's really easy to be couch potatoes in a pandemic.
i'm also hoping to get a part-time job and score some money for my bf and i's first apartment together. i'll be taking it easy with school this year, but if everything goes to plan then i will be finishing community college by the end of the fall semester!

so i got REALLY busy until now and didn't have a chance to reply, sorry!! here's my answers!
what was the best part of this holiday season for you? did you get a gift you're super excited about? did you make any new memories with having to change traditions? anything else you just wanna talk about?
- nothing really exciting happened too much about the holidays, but i got a new duvet cover and a wicked tapestry! i also got a phone skin!
hey everyone! whilst 2020 had brought unprecedented challenges to us, there were times where we all, around the world, participated in trends! what trends did you guys participate in? were there any that you particularly enjoyed?
- i got into making art tiktoks! at the beginning of quarantine, i had time to be able to do something for myself, so i actually put videos to my account that i had for a year or so beforehand. i don't really have much on there, and currently am unsure where to go with my tiktok account, but it's there!
there had been so many downs throughout 2020, but we want to focus on the ups it had! what was the most positive thing to come out of 2020 for you? what are the happy memories you will look back on when you think of it?
- nothing really good happened to me this year, but! this year, in november, marked my one year anniversary of being here on BB!
So on this thread we've talked a lot about 2020 and what we've done during the year, but what about the future? I want to know what resolutions or goals you guys have for 2021, or what you hope happens this year!
- i don't have any big plans for 2021, because i'm the go-with-the-flow type, but i aim to possibly be more active here, and maybe one day apply for staff when i feel confident in my activity and my abilities! other than that, i plan to get a new job and maybe start commissions. i also hope to get a new laptop!
