He sighed, watching him. He squeezed his shoukder. “Well, my home is your home, Gabriel. You’re always welcome here.” He said, smiling softly. “Now come on in. There’s som left over food in the fridge if you’re hungry. There’s a spare bedroom here too, so I’ll let you get settled in.” Jack said

he smiled and moved inside. “thanks, jackie.. you’ve got a nice place, dude..” he said and moved inside, looking around.

He smiked. “Well It helps that my job pays quite a bit. I really didn’t think I’d make much doing it. But...It’s good pay.” He said. He then lead Gabriel to the spare bedroom

he smiled slightly and hummed. “might have to get a job there.” he chuckled.

He smiled. “Perhaps. But aren’t you still with the military?” He asked

he hesitated. “i’m gonna be honest with you.. no. i got discharged.” he said.

Jack was quiet for a moment. “Well, don’t worry Gabriel. I’m here to help you.” Jack said, smiling. “I’ll be out in the living room. Get yourself settled in and familiar with the house.” Jack said. He then turned, leaving the room

he blinked and nodded, but as soon as jack left, he moved to curl up in bed, sighing and easily falling asleep.

Jack had gone out to the living room and had taken a seat on the couch. He then turned off the tv, looking down. If Gabe was staying here, he’d need to go to the store and pick him up some things
