okay so. for a few reasons ic and ooc i've weighed the options, and i've decided that [member=8374]JOSIE[/member] and [member=8376]ELLIE[/member] are going to be the new leaders of Flintlock. This doesn't mean Andor is demoted btw unless they decide to for whatever reason but considering he's currently in captivity we really need people to step in and take over I feel for activity which is what everyone sorely needs rn

FLINTLOCK LEADER TRYOUTS!

[align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 1.5;"]I wanna note real quick that I won't he in any conversations about leadership / these apps since I'm applying now alsdfkjh.

Roleplayer's Name: Aureate / Rev [ with [member=12]ALLOY[/member] ]
Character's Name: Josephine [ Josie, Jo / with [member=8376]ELLIE[/member] ]
Brief Character Description: Jo is a hard-working young woman with a passion for creating things. A little socially inexperienced, but filled with a warm sort of passion. Can at times work better with metal and flowers than actual people while still being both incredibly protective of and nurturing towards those that she's familiar with. Rough around the edges at times and often relies heavily on Ellie's judgment, but definitely has the right mind for the defense and betterment of the lodge's surroundings. Crafty, scrappy, and sweet.
Activity/Muse: IC activity depends on muse but my OOC activity is definitely a 9/10. I'm a busy college student but I always make time for this site. My muse for this character is super high, and I'm excited to work with Flintlock again so my muse for this is high too.
Why you'd be a good fit!: UH. Okay so I have a good deal of leadership experience on FF and BB, I've helped a lot in regards to turning around activity for many groups. I know pretty much everything there is to know about Flintlock lmao, I joined the group as soon as the site was up and running and I only recently left. I also work really well with the person I would be leading with, we communicate regularly and we have the same image of FL in mind.

What are your plans for Flintlock?: We're mostly looking to preserve what Flintlock has right now, honestly, and work towards making it more... Prominent? We really want to keep with the isolationist theme as well as their base as being a tight-knit group. Mostly we'll be working on building activity and allowing the group to move forward naturally. We want to make sure it's enjoyable and stays true to its image. [LISTEN OKAY ALLOY PUT THIS SO MUCH MORE ELOQUENTLY THAN I DID]

[align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 1.4;"]Roleplayer's Name: Alloy (with [member=11]AUREATEâ„¢[/member])
Character's Name: Ellie (with [member=8374]JOSIE[/member])
Brief Character Description: Ellie is very much a character of the mind, meaning she fancies herself a bit of an entomologist and botanist. She's very well-mannered and generally seems very friendly, if a bit distracted on occasion by whatever she's planning. Schedules and organization overall are greatly appreciated, and she prefers to account for everything that she can, in order to prevent any unexpected variables from tossing the pieces everywhere, so to speak. Her gentle nature can be overshadowed by a hardened brand of reason and ruthlessness, typically elicited in situations where she needs to assert herself for a very important cause, whether it be speaking on behalf of a friend/fellow or addressing someone who has committed a severe wrong-doing in her eyes. This does not often happen because of how measured and careful she is, but it is a notable trait.
Activity/Muse: I'm on every day. I don't post as often as I'd like to, but that's for lack of things to post in. Considering our goal (Rev's and mine) of restoring more activity to Flintlock, I'm going to work more on posting as frequently as I'm able to. I am occasionally busy with college, though I tend to find time anyway lmfao.
Why you'd be a good fit!: Well, to explain the conjunction mentioned up above with Rev, I'm applying with them for a sort of joint leadership of Flintlock. We've been in Flintlock from its beginning, so about a year or so, and we both work really well together. We're more than capable of motivating each other, and beyond that, we both have leadership experience, though mine was back on FF. Rev should really be considered for this- they've put a lot of work into Flintlock in the past, so regardless of my part in this, they've been an essential piece of Flintlock in many different ways and know it very well.
What are your plans for Flintlock?: Clearly, one of the greater issues on BB is keeping the groups active. Same goes for FL. While those in charge shouldn't be solely depended on for activity, they're a large part of it, so consistent weekly meetings and frequent appearances around the board are definitely necessary. Beyond that, Rev and I have agreed that Flintlock, as a relatively isolated group, will have a higher community focus, in that relationships between characters within will be built more. There could even be an unofficial system of favors, typical between people who trust each other, where they often do what other people need in return for what they need, which is something that could help Flintlock in the long term by further establishing these relationships. Furthermore, Flintlock would take a bit more of an isolationist approach. Occasional trade will happen with ND, but they keep to themselves and rarely become involved in matters that don't affect their people. Any attacks on their community would not go unpunished, however; it's just something achieved independently, rather than relying on outside help. This could lead to interesting plots in the future, wherein some conflict might arise when their assistance is needed and they are reluctant to provide it for the sake of keeping their own people safe.
