he huffed. "shut up! you don't get to decide that, your dad does!" he snapped. "i'm your new body guard whether you like it or not! some of us have to buy food, so i'd quite like to keep this job!"

[peridot.]

"You don't have to buy shit! You live in our house!" Kody snapped, stepping forward a bit to growl at the other, their faces close together.

[dannychan]

he hissed. "so? it's not like i can stay there for free!"

[peridot.]

"My Dad straight up fucking said he would let you be a freeloader if you wanted, but you said you wanted to be my bodyguard! I heard that conversation!" He said, growling.

[dannychan]

he frowned. "exactly! no job means no roof over my head, no food for me to eat, no nice bed at night!" he snapped.

[peridot.]

"He said he would let you stay here without the job! He said you didn't need to fucking protect me if you didn't want to! But you said yes! You said you wanted to protect me and be my friend! But I don't know why, because that's an idiotic thing to want!" He snapped, turning red and yanking his hands away from the other, tears in the edges of his eyes.

[dannychan]

he hissed. "because i'm not a freeloader!" he snapped. "i don't want to leech of people of be useless to them!"

Kody's eyes widened slightly, and tears started to roll down his cheeks, and he snapped, "It's good to know that you don't actually care about being my friend!" Before he sniffled and bolted back off towards his room, slamming the door behind him and sinking down against it, crying.

[dannychan]

he made a soft noise. "don't call me that!" he said and took his hands. "stop running, ok? you're going to get yourself hurt!"

Kody blinked as the other grabbed his hands, and he turned a bright red, glaring with anger and embarassment at the other, "I'm not going to get myself hurt! Besides, you'll probably get me hurt with your clumsiness!"
