Sherlock froze a bit. Was John mad? He hesitantly met his gaze. He waited a moment before slowly moving over to him.

he took his hand and gently pulled him into a hug.

Sherlock froze at the sudden hug. He stared at him silently. He waited a moment before slowly hugging him back.

he sighed. "at least i know it was someone that i trusted." he mumbled.

Sherlock blinked. He then closed his eyes, his arms loosening around him. He pulled away, looking down. "...You can't even trust me." He whispered.

he frowned. "sherlock, if trust you with me life."

He watched him. "That's the problem, John." He whispered. 'This man...This new criminal who matches my wits, he didn;t die in the explosion. And he said he was coming after everyone I cared about." He whispered. He glanced down. "I told myself I would never care for anyone again. My brother is right. Caring is not an advantage. I know that now. Caring for you....It was a mistake. Your life is in danger. All because I decided to try and care about someone again." Sherlock whispered.

he frowned and took the other males cheeks in his hands. "sherlock. i live for danger. this? it's the best thing that i could do."

Sherlock blinked. He met his gaze. "That's not what I want for you. You can die. This man...He's more dangerous then anyone else I've encountered. Something could happen to you. I...I can't live with that fact that you can die because of me." He whispered,

he frowned. "if i do, it's going to be on my own terms. besides, everyone has a weakness."
