Noctis looked them over.  He then glanced them over. “...So it was true then.” Noctis whispered. He blinked. “You guys aren’t my real parents. I’m actually part of some royal bloodline. That’s why I can do these...powers.” Noctis said.

“Noct, Stop. We’re not talking about this.” Gkadio said. Noctis blinked, looking him over

he flinched and looked down, before standing up and leaving the room, and then the house. he didn't even bother grabbing a jacket.

Noctis watched Ignis Leave. He frowned. “...Ignis, Wait!” He called out. He then turned, heading oit after him. Gladio cursed under his breath and followed him.

Ignis had gotten into the car and locked the door. he started it and pulled out of the driveway.

Noctis stopped when he spotted Ignis in the car. “Ignis!” Noctis called oit, watching him with wide eyes.

Ignis had already started driving away at this point. he felt like he had failed his one job, so what was the point?

He frowned, watching him leave. He frowned, shifting a bit. He felt his heart drop. He couldn’t imagine what Ignis would do now. Gladio frowned

It was a few hours later. Noctis had been out that whole time, searching for Ignis. He found him after a long time. He was out, sitting in a field away from the city. Noctis let out a relieved breath when his gaze landed on him. Noctis approaches Iggy, looking him over. He then gently lowered himself down to the ground, sitting alongside the taller male.

He glanced ahead, sitting there in silence for a moment. “Ignis...I’m sorry about what I said before. But...Even if I am a prince...Even if you’re not really related to me, that doesn’t change anything. You’re stil my family, Iggy. That’s never changing. I couldn’t ask for a better mother then you.” He murmured.

he looked down and clenched his fist. "my whole mission was to protect you from the truth so you didn't have to deal with that shit.."

Ignis sighed. He looked ahead. "...Gladio told me everything after you left. Who my real parents were. What bloodline I was from. How I'm...Now the king. But, none of that matters, Ignis. Besides, Insomnia has already been destroyed. I know I should go back and become king. But...I haven't grown up around royalty. I don't know the first thing on how to run a kingdom. The people who escaped are better off just living in the cities where they are now." Noctis murmured.

He sighed, resting a hand on Ignis's shoulder. "Nothing is changing because of this, Ignis." he murmured.
