It was six months. The night had been cast into an eternal night. The boys had managed to take back Insomnia and take down Ardyn. However, Noctis had to sacrifice himself to do so. It was a week after his death. Many people ended up coming back and they had started on repairs and clean up to the city.

Gladio was currently working alongside Ignis and Prompto as they cleaned out a spot in the city. He knew how much Noct's death effected them. Gladio kissed the brat terribly.'but he knew Ignis and Prompto were taking this much harder then him. He glanced over, watching his friends.

"You two need anything?" Gladio asked

Ignis hadn't even spoken since nocta death, so at the question, he just shook his head, continuing to do what he had been doing.
prompto had almost constantly been in tears, and would start sobbing at random times. he rubbed his eyes, having just finished another dying sesion. "do.. do you have wa-water..?"

Gladio set a hand on Prompto's shoulder, squeezing it. "Yeah, just hold on." He said.

"Guys?" A voice asked that was oddly familiar. Gladio's eyes widened. He turned around, spotting a Noctis standing there, watching them. He looked exhausted, but happy at the same time. He glanced them over before a smile formed on his face. "I think this is the first time I've actually seen you three cleaning together." He said

"...Noctis?" Gladio asked, watching him.

prompto looked up, and his eyes widened. Ignis seemed frozen in place, and jumped when prompto ran over and launched into noctis's arms, legs and arms wrapping around him and kissing him over and over again.

Noctis took a step back at the sudden force of Prompto. However, he smiled, hugging Promto tightly and keeping him close. Gladio stared at him.

Noctis held him tightly, shushing him softky. He turned his head, placing a soft kiss to Prompto's cheek. "Noct, we...We saw you die. How are you here?" Gladio asked.

Noctis glanced over at them. "That doesn't matter. I'm here though. And I'm not leaving again." He said. He then glanced at Ignis.
