lip had been sat next to fiona, drinking a beer he had gotten- and nearly choked on it when he processed what ian had said. “what? are you serious?” he asked. carl started at ian, eyes wide. “dude, are you having another episode?” he asked worriedly. mickey seemed to be watching fiona with the same look, seeming to be daring her to tell him no. he wouldn’t let her if she tried.

Fiona's eyes widened and she said, frowning sharply, "Absolutely not. This sounds like just the sort of thing you'd be doing if you were having a manic episode." Ian winced and said, looking down at his feet, "I'm not having an episode, guys. I'm doing this because I want to."

mickey frowned. “i came prepared for that shit, fiona. i counted his pills. looks like he’s been taking them like he’s supposed to.@ he stated. carl hesitates. “you’re going to visit, right?” he asked softly.

[peridot.]

Fiona said, frowning at Mickey, "I'm just supposed to trust you to take care of him? May I remind you that you're a wanted criminal? A wanted criminal who's relationship with him has at best been erratic as hell?" Ian winced again and focused on Carl, smiling weakly and nodding, "Yeah, of course I'm going to visit."

hefrowned. “might i remind you that you nearly killed your kid and went to jail for it? oh, and what about the time you spent the squirrel fund on a laundromat and nearly brought your family into bankruptcy? yeah,he told me about that shit.” he stated. “i can do a better job than you could, fiona.” he stated, crossing his arms. “besides, it’s not like i didn’t have a plan for his shit.”

Ian frowned and said softly, seeming upset, "I can take care of myself, you guys know." Fiona frowned at him and said softly, "Ian.." She then said, sighing as she glared at Mickey, "Fine. Fine. But if something happens to him, you're fucking dead, Milkovich. Dead."

he frowned. “border patrol would be on your ass before you could even cross the boarder.” he stated.
carl watched them and frowned. lip sighed and looked at mickey. “you said you had a plan. what was your plan?” he asked. mickey hummed. “you’ll find out later.” he stated.

Ian tipped his toes in and sat back down beside Mickey, saying softly, "We won't be leaving immediately, at least." Fiona still seemed frustrated, but she didn't say anything as Ian glanced at Lip and Carl with a little nervous frosn.

lip sighed. “maybe it’ll be good for him to get away for a bit, fi. i mean.. as long as he has someone to keep him under control and healthy..” he said softly to her.

Ian felt... Nervous. He wasn't sure how the family would react to him leaving, especially with Mickey. He had had everybody sit down in the living room, and he really didn't appreciate how Fiona was looking at Mickey with disdain. Ian sighed and cleared his throat, getting to his feet, "So... I asked you all here because.. I'm moving away. With Mickey. We're going to Mexico together."
