oh YEAH I didn't even think of that Stoney is leader now he's the one who chooses to let people in. I imagine he doesn't discriminate against kittypets and loners too much but he just didn't want to train a kittypet bc he thought he might be lazy or harder to train but then he realizes and is just like "that just means I get to teach him more fun stuff!!"

Yes and I mean, Parker is determined to learn... he is just a bit obnoxious and hardheaded but he's definitely gonna gain a soft spot and admire Stone, even!!!
