[align=center][align=center][div style="0px; width:450px; height:auto; text-align: justify; font-size: 9pt; line-height:13px;"]ACT ONE BOYS
- Erik was crying like the baby he is during till I hear you sing and I actually felt bad for him,,, he sounded really agonized
- CONEY ISLAND WALTZ HAD A SUDDEN FLASH OF LIGHTS AND IT WAS SO GOOD FKFKKDKA
- Meg and Giry are. A little more in character, Giry is just like regular strict grump Giry and you can’t even tell that Meg is unhinged yet
- Raoul. Is. More redeemable they made him better (also him and Gustav had a cute father son moment with the wind up machine thing it was adorable)
- Christine is. An angel what did you expect - also she wasn’t like in the AUS cast where she was mildly annoyed at Erik when he showed up like she was PISSED and yelled
- BAMS uhhhhh I actually enjoyed it a lot it was good. Except for the part when they decided to add some uhhhhhhhh extra blocking during the line “again, and then again” (Erik cried during this song what did you expect and again, agonized)
- Another thing. He was like. Shook when Christine said that she loved him. When Christine was singing “I woke to swear my love” that fucker when “no” in the most heart wrenching voice I hate him
- When Gustav showed up,,, again not like AUS cast like Erik was literally whipping that poor boy around like he was gonna yote that kid off the balcony it was. You could tell how murderous he was there
- And then. He cried again during once upon another time
- And then all his redeemability left when he started screaming like the witch he is at Christine (not like Ben who was like “save me Christine” he was like “RAAA SAVE ME CHRISITNEEEEE”) and Christine was terrified and it was awful she was like a poor trapped animal
- GUSTAVE IS SO GOOD HES SO TALENTED MY BABY
- Raoul is. Mmmmmmmm he’s almost redeemable he’s more of an annoyed soccer dad
- Dear old friend was cool as heck and again. Reminded me of a awkward family reunion (Meg and Christine were so genuinely happy to see each other aaaawh)
- Erik. Still has every intention to murder Gustave and his trio of goons do too (he sarcastically said “does the little viscount play?” In such a salty self-centered tone what a guy)
- BEAUTY UNDERNEATH WAS SO O GOOD OBVIOUSLY AND GUSTAVE SANG THE “AHHHHHHHH” part from the og phantom title song and I cried and so did Erik (he was trying to teach Gustave too which was grand and also uhh h he did this cool like “hold out the note” thing and generally being a good dad even though he keeps whipping that poor boy around like a rag doll)
- Erik cried again when Christine showed up and told Gus to go (also, Meg tried to comfort Erik and he recoiled that’s 1+ point for touch averse phantom) and again, he cried and recoiled from Christine (when she was singing about lkke. How they have a son you could hear him sobbing. A legend)
- screamed “lEAVE ME” to Christine. Very final lair of you.
- Giry sounds like a pissed woman who spent years trying to help a crying dummy who’s tryna get a girl. That’s all

[align=center][align=center][div style="0px; width:450px; height:auto; text-align: justify; font-size: 9pt; line-height:13px;"]ACT TWO BAYBEEEE
- Lets start by appreciating the entr'acte because it was really good and a1 ok back to the matter at hand
- This Raoul is good at playing remorseful soccer dad with a substance issue. Like, , ,, he's actually quite upset and angry at himself. Again, he's redeemable (good job Sean Thompson you did amazing), and like. he sounded genuinely sad so heck yeah you go
- Meg again, she's not really unhinged at all she's kinda just. Sad and worried about Christine and Raoul and she totally got in Raoul's space (pushed back his hair, ,, very suspicious and I'm sure it was just a friendship comforting gesture). Also those bartenders in the back were doing great being random (also I totally saw Bronson's head behind the bar he wasn't that slick)
- DEVIL TAKE THE HINDMOST was so good. THE ENTIRE AUDIENCE KINDA WENT "oh shiiiiii" when Erik appeared. The entire theater. They had this huge gasp moment. It was great. Knocking over bar chairs? ?Raoul kinda slumped after Erik was like "you sure Gustave is your kid" and that was either the fact he was drunk or distressed but he knocked like three chairs over. Erik threw one, because he is a dramatic baby (also, that one part where it's like "she walks,,  you leave together" Raoul was no longer making angry noises like he was in the AUS recording, he was making sad choking noises so Erik. Let the man breathe) Then Raoul got really regretful and realized the dumb thing he'd done. Whoopsie
- Squelch Gangle and Fleck are kings and queen of the show. Also Fleck had a really gravelly voice which collided a lot with the general energy of him. Fleck was a queen- all throughout the show they like showed up and would mess around and generally it was great (also them playing with Gustave made my heart happy (mostly just to hear Gus laughing that's all I cared about it was such a precious laugh))
- BATHING BEAUTY ON THE BEACH BATHING BEAUTY SAY HELLO (dots? dots? dots? DOTS? DOTS!!!) Seeing Meg happy made me happy
- Okay so again, Meg and Giry aren't really unhinged or out of character. They're perfectly in character - Meg seems upset and validly upset and doesn't flip out like AUS cast (at least, until she throws her umbrella and smashes her mirror), she's just pissed to hell. Giry is still Giry.
- Gustave said to Christine "you look like a queen from out of a book" and she started parading around like a queen and I cried, sweet mother son scenes are the only things I stan. Also, Christine and Raoul had a cute moment with Gus - the whole "he'd give me a single red rose" part wasn't threatening or accusing like in AUS cast, she was telling Gus like a story.
- Erik showed up through a window. What kind of Peter Pan parody is this.
- I forgot who played Gustave but he's so frickin talented because the Devil Take The Hindmost quartet was so hardcore and it was him just singing hauntingly above it all. Real legends only up in here
- Love Never Dies was a beautiful song and during it Raoul took this huge step back like he was physically hurting when Erik showed up and I was in Pain. Also, the dress ? ? ? Was gorgeous. I need that for a prom I'll never go to (also this song was really good, I kinda hate this song because it's boring but Rachel Anne Moore made it work)
- Christine stopped singing when Raoul left and it was kinda like a slap to the face ouch
- Aaaand afterwards everything goes to hell
- Erik is drastically less violent during the whole "hunt down Mme Giry" which was nice. Still don't forgive him for yelling at Christine tho
- Karen Mason does such a good Mme Giry. She plays her like this annoyed old mom who's supposed to be retired but instead has to babysit like a 5 kids for the rest of her life (those five kids are Squelch, Fleck, Gangle, Erik, and Meg). Not a villain. THank the lord
- These, ,, ,, these geniuses reprised the Beauty Underneath and didn't tell me,,, it's called the Streets of Coney Island in the cd version,,, high key listen to it because it's so good. So good, a bunch of desperate people looking for a few things and also Mme Giry's agonized "Meg" makes my heart hurt. Oh also Erik's "Gustave" was sad too.
- Meg wasn't going nuts. This isn't Meg having a breakdown. Meg in this version knows what she's doing,,, Mary Michael Patterson knew what she was doing when she played Meg as a angry vengeful person because she has every intention of throwing Gustave into the water and we all know it. Meg was gonna drown the child just out of rage. Yikes
- The way things were angled, I thought Meg shot Erik. Sadly, not true. Christine still died rip
- Raoul and Erik almost like. Held hands. I could've been seeing things but I don't care
- When Christine died Erik went “Oh God, oh no” a few times and it was a dead ringer for that one episode of the office with Michael screaming no
- He was gonna yeet into the ocean after she died until Gustave showed up :///
- thEY WERE SINGING DURING CURTAIN CALL AND I LOVE HEARING LOVE NEVER DIES FROM THE ENTIRE CAST THANK YOU THANK YOU GOODNIGHT
- And then I bought merch. It's good merch

- he's like. what 32. 32? maybe 33. it's been ten years since stuff went down
- he's got this cool frikin. performing arts garden place that's similar to alice in wonderland with a hint of american horror story freakshow because no way would any normal performing arts garden have a lady trapped in a wall of glass
- and sweet. sweet evangeline is around as Local Head Dancer and thorne is like. he's the manager of press and stuff (showed up sometime and never really left) . nigel is here to manage the manager/composer. evan is kept on a very short leash because we all know what happened last time he was given some free time and a large area with plenty of places to stash a body
- he has a cool act where he probably plays an instrument/sings and it's haunting and beautiful and everyone's leaning in so close to him and then he rips off the mask and everyone yells. and everyone thinks its fake afterwards so evan can wander around jus. chilling and he's never actually been this comfortable or happy before but now. look at that
- and then, cue the cannons bc guess who just showed up in new york
