tadeas spat at the question and didn't respond for a while. [b]"it's okay." he said a matter-of-factly. "we don't have too much to do over there. well - i don't. dad kills people for a living, i think." as he narrated the story of his hometown, he saw he was making up a lot more than he realized. he didn't know much about nottingham at all, did he? just that..he ate a lot of croissants, and that all the girls liked him.

"it's boring. it really is." after a few seconds of silence, he turned to her suddenly. "my dad [i]hates your dad. he says that he's the reason why uh, why..he like, doesn't have as much gold, or something." 

he couldn't imagine what rowan was thinking, because he didn't comprehend the gravity of the situation until much later.

"it's getting a little late, i think. my dad will be really mad at me when i get home." best not to go home at all. no -- then he'd send people to look for him. nah, that was boring. he might as well just go home and be smacked a little and then be let off to bed.

"it was nice talking with you..rowan. i hope i can see you again some time."
