Johnny was a kid at heart, there was no doubt about that. For multiple reasons, really. He had been sheltered as a child, kinda, he had never really matured, heck he didn't even know how to read. So, it was a little weird he had a collection of comics. Mostly Calvin and Hobbes comics, and superhero stuff, but his favorite was the three ninja turtle ones he had. His favorite ninja was the orange one because he made the funniest faces. Plus the ninja ate the triangle food, which was pizza not that the grown man knew that.
A happy, placid smile shown bright on his dirtied features. It was a smile that he only really showed when he looked at the pictures inside the comics. Very childish and somewhat charming if one ignored the rifle by his side and the insane definition in his arms from years of straight survival. He sat hunched over on an old plastic chair that looked like it was about to fall apart underneath John. The rest of his comic collection was messily lay over his bookbag. Wind twirled his thick hair between it's fingers, the thin material of his ratty t-shirt pressed against his left side.
