He walked along, ripping his jacket up and stuffing his hands in his pocket. He took out his shitty flip phone, calling his mother, but it went straight to voicemail. He shook his head and flipped it shut. He started walking, and within about an hour he was in a shitty little neighbourhood, walking past gas stations and whore houses. He stopped at one, looking at the sign. "Working late then.." he mumbled and kept walking until he got to a rickety old looking house with at least three cars in the drive way and lawn. It was a condo split between four families, which was normal to him. He unlocked the door and walked in, turning on the light. He closed and bolted the door, sighing softly. You could see most of the house through the window, a old ratty couch, a small kitchen, a single room, and a makeshift room made of a mattress with old star wars sheets and a blue sheet to make "walls". He sat on the couch and took out a book.
