King was recovering, but at what cost? The hostility of its inhabitants made it difficult for King to not just give in, made it so, so hard. He scratched at his arm, sitting down on a small brick wall. He was sure Lillith would probably be looking for him, after he managed to sneak out of the house and booked it, running off and finding himself lost and afraid in the middle of this great big town he wasn't so sure he knew.

He sniffled, running his arm over his face as tears ran down his cheeks, curling in on himself as he rocked on this half-wall, wanting nothing more than to be back at home, with Lillith. He scratched at his jaw and then his leg, getting itchy all over, and he struggled to snap out of it. He had done this before in one of his many highs, feeling like bugs were crawling all over him, tearing into his skin and leaving nasty scars. He continued to sob until he noticed a figure in the distance, instantly stopping and hiccuping.

Who was this?

King stayed seated, pulling his sweater over his front as he watched this figure walk towards him, noticing a baby was carried on this stranger's back. Kingston didn't move, eyes just watching, calculating. He wanted to break into a sprint back into the city, but he remained unmoving, thinking, maybe if I don't move, he won't see me.
