Meetings, Maisie had grown disenchanted with the meetings after a few of them... would they ever be lighthearted, wholesome? With good tidings... the amount of bad news that continued to be shared was, for lack of better words, exhausting. Maisie hated the idea that someone would willingly kill another human, it was... horrible to even think about.
And yet, someone had been murdered, and left behind people who she loved and cared about, and who loved and cared for her. Whomever the culprit was, she wanted to know why, and how, but mostly why. Why would someone do that to another human being? Another person who was struggling to make it out in this world just like everyone else? She sat quietly, hands folded in her lap, her usual upbeat countenance masked with her growing concerns.
