eyes wandered around absently throughout the village, his attention eventually diverting towards maisie and her garden. the snow would cover that garden eventually - sooner rather than later. he stretched his arms above his head as he wandered over, humming a short note. “didn’t take you as the gardening type.” then again, it wasn’t like he knew too much about maise. just that she was a bit more tolerable of fred’s bothersome antics than most other people.
