His job took him many places, some that were memorable for their strange inhabitants, or were as forgettable as the next small settlement. Some he enjoyed, particularly the ones that were occupied with folks that kept to themselves and stayed out of his business. In others people were far too nosy. He was a private man, a working man, there for the job and maybe some food and rest. Every once in a while he found somewhere that he'd like to return to someday, but never somewhere that he would stay.
It wasn't that he craved adventure or couldn't sit still. He was just a righteous workaholic that followed the destruction of monsters. It was the only thing that made him feel like his life had any purpose, and he couldn't fathom stopping until his heart was done too.
His work had been given many names. He was a bounty hunter, hunting down those that wronged others in horrific ways. He was a cop, enforcing laws of old that really shouldn't be obsolete anymore. He was a vigilante, needing no payment if it meant a vile person was brought down, working with no real legal framework. He didn't care what they called him, a job was a job and there was always more evil out there.
Today's job brought him to Flintlock Lodge. Or it was, since he was still working on summiting the mountain. The horse that he had purchased for the journey was slowing down, getting tired. Maybe if he'd decided to stop, this would have been avoided, but maybe that rock was always going to come loose.
The horse fell, and it fell hard. Danny too, came crashing to the ground, narrowly avoiding getting pinned under the animal. The impact of his shoulder hitting the ground sent pain screaming from his shoulder down his arm. "Fuck!" He grabbed at his shoulder, took a few seconds to calm down and assess. It hurt, but it was the only thing, and it didn't seem broken.
His eyes turned to the horse, laying on the ground, one of its legs bent at a strange angle. He'd never claim to be good with animals or know about horses, but it didn't take a genius to know that that horse wasn't getting back up again. He closed his eyes and groaned, then stood up and crossed over to the panting animal.
"I'm sorry." He said, crouching down in front of it. "For everything." Bringing it here, not stopping. He was an apathetic person, but he hated to see a life wasted. Especially an undeserving one.
Thanks to the mountains, the sound of the gunshot could be heard for miles.

He typically wears whatever t-shirt and pants that are semi-clean, pairing it off with the Edgy Man's Black Leather Jacket and boots. Lastly, he is almost never seen without the beige scarf wrapped around his neck.

Personality — blow it to the ground and it's now you see
▪ On the surface, it seems like there's not that much to love about Danny, as most of the traits he displays are unpleasant, from his rampant apathy and general distaste for nearly everything, to his irritability and short fuse, to the arrogance he possesses, to the blunt and nearly aggressive way with which he interacts with people. Underneath his assholishness, however, is someone that will stand by the things he believes and the people he cares about, willing to die and kill for them. He's incredibly loyal, protective and stubborn. That only scratches the surface, however, but for space's sake it'll be left at that.
