[align=center][div style="width: 350px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; font-family: calibri; letter-spacing: .6px; color: #494949;"]with the snow melting more and more each day, bowie knows if he wants to do some... experimental things with his skateboard, he’s going to have to do it sooner have to wait a whole year before the conditions are right once again, if he even stays at the lodge for that long. so, it’s probably not a great idea, but he’s been unable to rid his brain of it since it popped into his head. it would be a disgrace if he didn’t at least try, that’s what people used to do there, right? use a board to go down the side of the mountain, he’s going to do the same, just with his preferred board. putting the ol’ ski lodge to good use! not letting it rot away with so many people constantly living in it.

he had made his decision to try it out the night before and struggled to get to sleep because of it. but, eventually he runs his thoughts tired and gets on a few hours before he finally gets up mid morning and sets out to find the best spot. aspen’s lips purse as he assesses the pros and cons of each potential spot. eventually, he finds a place he thinks will be perfect: a pretty open area with what looks like still has a covering of enough snow to cushion any uneven ground and any falls. he rushes back to his room to grab his board, placing it on the floor to zoom through some of the halls in pure excitement for what he’s going to do.

aspen passes a few people he recognizes as he’s gliding through the halls, giving them a raise of his chin as a greeting with what could be described as a cheeky smirk. when he’s asked what he’s doing, he tries to encourage people to join him, “ [color=#80bfff]common, it’ll be fuuuun, “ as his eyes follow them as he passes them.

then, he’s setting up what he’s envisioned, board as centered in the patch of snow as he can eyeball, wheels in the snow. he steps on, teeter-tottering his weight on the front and back of the board to try and get him going. it doesn’t work well, getting stuck before it can even breech the top of the hill. “ [color=#80bfff]alright, “ he huffs, a little shake of his head and half of an eye roll, kicking the board back to its starting position. okay, so, he has to get a running start. he glances side to side as he backs up, across the walkway, just to make sure he won’t be blocking other people’s ways. once he’s as back as far as he can get, aspen grins. this has to work.
