when eli asks her if she’s having a good time, her eyebrows raise just a tad while she makes eye contact with him her gaze lingers for a moment before looking to her other side with a shrug of her shoulders, “could be better,” joey replies, checking him out as she does so before continuing with the group. she figures they’ll at least have some moment alone to flirt and see whatever else happens.
they seem to be on the same page because both joey and eli pick the same house to split off into. she rolls up one or the balls of her feet to get a better look in the overhead cabinets, taking her time as she feels eli get closer to her. pursing her lips, she shakes her head, she found nothing and she’s assuming he hasn’t either. joey turns to face him, resting her weight to the side, waist against the counter. “[color=#990000]looks like it’s just us,” she mentions, a faint smirk pulling at the left side of her lips. the tension the two seem to instantly create is almost like a drug to joey, she wants to keep pushing and pushing it until the next step seems inevitable. she moves a bit closer to him, eyes shifting from his eyes to his lips; she’s aware this probably isn’t the place, but the rush.
