if only the man knew how much his barking laughter just egged frederick on. standing there proud and with a beaming grin, he laughed softly at the man’s contagious amusement. the casual conversation was enough for his eyes to gleam, welcoming. he liked this guy. why wasn’t there more of this easy conversation where fred came from? he decided not to continue going on for attention, though, and simply let the man speak.

ah. so this was the new face of the badlands? eyes turned over to see eddie’s reaction to the news; the leader was the one who was most knowledgeable about the politics of it all. politics had seemed too boring for freddie at the time. now he wished he’d found himself as the master of all things political for the group.

deciding to admit when he wasn’t that important a piece of a meeting, he gestured towards the mare. “i could take her to the stable for you, if you wanted. so you two can discuss things in the lodge.” wasn’t that such a mature thing for the man to offer, if he said so himself. guess he wasn't just constant energy and amusement at all times -- there was a more serious side every once in a blue moon.
