HOPE IS A DANGEROUS THING // MEETING [02/01]

[align=center][div style="width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt;"]The look Freddie shoots him is agitating. Elwin knows he’s pissed, having foiled the poor man’s evil plans the other day. That’s fine, he can be petty all he wants—nothing will compare to the anger and outrage he feels, having been left to his own devices all while Freddie attempted to take advantage of some poor, vulnerable woman. He makes a mental note to find that little girl at some point and thank her for her hard work. There’s still blood dried under his fingernails.

In plain view of everyone else, Elwin looks Freddie dead in the face, and draws a finger across his throat to let him know that he is in for it. Slimy bastard.

“... I’ll go and visit one,” he offers, awkwardly raising a hand. He doesn’t know why he offered himself up like that. Maybe it was the subconscious need to impress Edmund, or the fact that he needed a distraction from Freddie’s stupid, smug face or his throbbing wrist. “What—what would that entail?”
