✦ | it had taken shiloh a few moments for the call of a meeting to sink into their mind, senses captured completely by the minuscule furred creature softly buzzing on their index finger. the bumblebee has come out of nowhere and snapped the agrotis out of their journey into a dream world under the gently beating sunshine. the bumblebee had originally landed on a lone blossom, seeking out the golden pollen like a prized treasure. however, a sleepy wavering hand that had inched its way closer to the ivory petals led the striped insect away from the yellow powdery substance and onto their fingertip. up until the ( honey-dripping, sweet as wine ) voice of amadeus and the shuffle of other members snapped them back into reality, shiloh was ready to devote their entire time cooing and gently muttering to the bumblebee in their hold.
"sorry little one, hope to see you another time. enjoy your snack, pequeño." they whispered, soft smile slipping onto their face as the bee slipped from their finger back to the flower once close enough. giving a final glance to the bug, shiloh pushed themself off the slightly crumbled rock they were sunbathing on and took slightly quickened steps towards the location of the bonfire, simultaneously giving boyish smiles and apologies to those they might've pushed, brushing away at any lingering dust or pebbles stuck on their pastel shirt or pale pants.
once they had arrived at the bonfire, most of the area seemed to be packed with agrotis. shuffling through, they managed to snag an area close to where the anax stood, as well as a few other members they were lucky to be very familiar with. they attempted to send them all a fleeting grin even if they were not looking at their direction before amadeus began to speak. ( they tried to best to focus more on the words slipping from his mouth more than the rushing noise pounding in their ears encouraged by their fleeting heart. )
small dips of their head indicated their full attention to everything their leader said, mulling over some of the important announcements given in the speech. tryouts peaked their interest, if not slightly worried them a bit. it would be nice to hold a title behind their name, hoping it'd show how reliable and helpful they wish to be to everyone in their group. but at the same time... would they be good enough for it? their own comment caused the closed smile to downturn a bit, heart once pounding out of hidden affection then beating out of the tiniest anxiety. yet it all flowed over at the announcement of a bash. "that sounds great..." they muttered under their breath, excitement pouring into their veins and onto their facial features. ( it nearly overflowed at the last words of the anex: celebrating all of you. )
shiloh gave a final nod and shining smile towards amadeus. "thank you."
