After all, he didn't really stick around for dinner. Not for long, anyways. After all, there was something so loud and abrasive about the cafeteria during dinner times, but maybe that was only whenever Alfie or Tommy opened their loud, highly galling mouths when passing opinions which literally mattered to nobody. Peter had never met faces so punchable - but, then again, he had spent a lot of his time with Freddie...

That gave Peter some hope. Maybe one day he'd also grow used to those nuisances.

When stepping into the kitchen, Peter stood awkwardly in the doorway, features grim and eyes mildly frowning as his gaze shifted around at those in the kitchen. His sister was there and of course she'd left all of the drawers open. His chest felt tight, staring at the disarray momentarily before he wordlessly shuffled in, beginning to shut the drawers behind Evelyn. Elwin was talking - not that Peter was listening - and Peter only lifted his head as he heard a soft slap of food landing on the ground. He stared over, blinking at the teenager for a couple seconds with parted lips, before he grumbled quietly, ❝ Are you going to pick that up? ❞

Way to sap all of the amusement out of the room, Peter.
