[align=center][div style="width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt;"]This isn't the first time he's set himself on fire, and it sure as hell won't be the last, though this time is certainly less severe than others. He can recount a few instances where he legitimately feared for his life. He vividly remembers flames creeping up his lanky legs, warping and chewing through the skin right down to the muscle. It had been a long, painful, disgusting recovery, so much so that you'd think he'd have run at the first sign of fire, but ... something about it drew him in. He's not able to fight off the urge anymore, like it's his drug of choice and he is but a hapless addict.
When yet another person comes to point and laugh, Elwin is considering running for the hills and never showing his face 'round here again, just to spare him enduring another second of being humiliated like this. He wants his hair back. He wants something to hide behind.
William opens his mouth, and Elwin wants to die even more. He's this close to just hiding his face in his hands, but the man's suggestion has him thinking otherwise. "Really?" he asks. He doesn't mean to sound so hopeful, but he thinks anything is better than what he looks like now. "... I mean, if you're offering."
