[align=center][div style="width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt;"]Freddie has already established himself as an enemy in Elwin's mind. He's interacted with the guy a total of two times, this being the second instance, but already he can imagine himself giving the man a nice, hard push into the ice. Maybe it'll crack and he'll get a faceful of frigid water.
Ice skating? He's ashamed to admit that he's never done anything of the sort. Part of it is due to the fact that he's so ungraceful, he'd fall flat on his face the second he steps foot onto the ice. It'd sooner break his nose than crack the ice, given that he weighs about as much as a feather, so he's not particularly worried about falling in. He just doesn't want to end up splinting a broken leg five minutes into his foray over the frozen lake.
But who is he to play it safe? If he breaks something, then he breaks something. Plus, he thinks, barely concealing his impish little smile, he has a plan. Nothing too bad, but certainly nothing good either--at this point, he just wants to be a nuisance to Freddie, the dickwad who had the nerve to laugh at his unfortunate haircut. (The very same 'do he has yet to fix.)
"Why not?" he calls back, hiding the impending doom in his voice. And so, Elwin steps forth onto the ice, promptly slipping and sliding his way directly into the center, where Freddie stands. It's there that he decides he will now suddenly lose his footing and fall forward, reaching an arm out to catch Freddie by the shoulder and try to bring him down with him.
