Selena Felix
Needy, selfish and vile were all words that could be applied to Sel, but usually people didn't notice that. Not at first, anyway, because Sel was in possession of something few children of the apocalypse had: sophistication. Today's youth were often feral, raw, uncontrolled. They drove nails through baseball bats, found the most jagged rocks for their slingshots, took up arms that no one taught them how to use before they fired the first shot.
Though, perhaps at a whopping twenty-six with a baby on the way, she couldn't really count herself among today's youth. Still, she'd been three when the world lost power, and scarcely could remember a time with electricity. Surely that counted for something.
She was a lady, brimming with charm and rarely entering a situation she wasn't equipped for. Her father had made sure that such a time would be rare - she knew when to talk someone into liking her, into seeing her side, how to fight her way out of a confrontation if words couldn't end it, and if necessary, how to go a little feral too.
But with two girls - her sister and a stranger - exchanging words, now was definitely not the time to stoop to their level. "Isabel," Sel said, a gentle warning, a hand placed on her shoulder. "I'll handle this." Her gaze moved from Bub to Alma, and her head tilted to the side ever so slightly. "Have you been waiting long?" No, not too long, the dogs only had been barking for a minute or so.

— Sel is a very bold, competitive and stubborn person, with a wild side that is shown frequently as well as flirtatious tendencies. She is easily bored and is always on the lookout for adventure, with a spark of curiosity that she hopes will lead to what she seeks: adventure and romance. She seems to not be a very serious person and would rather have fun than be productive, and failing entertainment she can be quite productive and get quite a bit done. She's loud and lacks discipline. While Sel is irresponsible (and oddly bossy) and wild, she is very family-oriented and loves her family dearly. She is usually a cheerful, friendly person but she definitely has a passion for the weird, dark and creepy. She is somewhat vain and egotistical. She has her secrets and one of them is her intelligence and ability to collect information; most dismiss her as a dumb party girl (or something like that) and that's part of her cover, she has her fair share of sins and has to have a way of hiding them, and because she is a good liar and good actress, she succeeds.
