hayley didn't mind cleaning. it was almost a stress reliever some days, scrubbing and scouring and washing anything she could get her hands on. there was something almost violent about cleaning, in the most composed manner possible. you could put as much pressure as you had to on a table or a wall, scrub until it was clean, until your mind felt... better. until everything was okay.
still, dishes might have been her least favorite form of cleaning. something about touching things other people's mouths had been on skeeved her out, and whenever possible, she'd pawn the duty off onto someone else. so, upon entering the kitchen with a pile of plates in her hands, the final wave of dinner-eaters, and she saw dominik and edmund scrubbing away, she sort of half smiled in amusement, moving closer and setting the plates on the counter before moving them closer towards the men.
