— guess the badlands hadn’t gone up in complete flames while cat was gone. guess anyone could be grateful enough for that - especially addy, who knew he would’ve been fuckin’ blamed for it if it happened. it wasn’t like he would ever tell cat that he missed them in any way, shape, or form - because in his mind he hadn’t really missed them all that much. however… having catalyst around… it made things a lot more eventful, enjoyable.
aside from watching the dumbass nearly eat shit on top of a roof. he squinted as he watched the leader look around for the nearest place to get off the roof. “the fuck is wrong with you?” he felt like he was justified in asking them that, at the very least. it wasn’t even much worry for the leader - they’d gotten themselves in this situation, not addy’s reason to be worried - but just pure, genuine wonder at this point.
