He doubted that anybody had noticed, seeing as he had been a little more on the down-low than usual. Not that Gabriel was an extraordinarily extroverted soul, bright and chipper and making friends with everybody in sight, but being reclusive was a bit odd of him as well. Gabriel had vowed to leave his bitterness in the past, his tendencies to shut others out. However, he had felt so... unsure as of lately. Today, he figured that perhaps trying to reinsert himself into the group wouldn't hurt.

Oh, was that not the case.

Gabriel had listened to the usual announcements; noting the names of the newcomers, silently agreeing with the idea of marking the borders clearly, and warily taking caution of the dangers posed with "The Insurrection". Gabriel didn't fully trust Sheogorath still, but getting taken and beaten by an enemy leader didn't sound particularly fun. He could only hope that these people would leave them alone so that Catalyst didn't have to take further action. Gabe knew the capabilities of the Badlanders, but he didn't want anymore chaos. He didn't wish for any more violence.

Then, a loud bang reverberated in his eardrums. Gabriel flinched and whipped his gaze over towards the casino doors, blue hues glistening with newfound fear. What the hell was that?

He felt his veins run with an icy coldness, he felt a lump form in his throat. Gabriel was not used to acts of terrorism being a regular occurrence; his father had always done his best to defend his family and home. Were they being attacked? Was this it?

The teenager watched as Catalyst ran out after the perpetrators, as well as a few others tagging along. He didn't choose to follow; he hadn't a weapon on him. Instead, he stood in a brief daze and state of confusion and shock before snapping back into reality. He turned his head towards the others still remaining in the casino lobby and he asked, ".. Is everyone okay?" Who knows -- perhaps somebody could have been standing close to the blast. Gabriel felt the need to do something, even if he wasn't necessarily skilled in the field of medicine.
