She had been hurt, had being the key word. Though it was clear to anyone she had been through some shit purely by the scratches and healing wounds on her face. Not once did it cross her mind if people noticed her absence, or if maybe they celebrated it but once she reached the boarder she started to. She wondered if Mord noticed her gone, if Molly made a comment on it, if Cat celebrated her disappearance or even took note of it. It didn’t matter now as she walked through familiar territory looking dirty and tired but her rbf still holding strong.
Her feet quickened hearing the explosion, last she knew they had no enemies, nobody to fear or worry about. They were on good terms with the groups. Apparently she was wrong. She’d slow hearing the voices get closer. They were coming towards her, well this was definitely one was to make an entrance back into the Badlands. Paige’s new weapon of choice was a crossbow, one that she currently carried on her after stealing it along with the necessary ammo of course.
The brunette appeared shortly after Cat’s gunshot, watching these three teens run right to her. She aimed for the boy helping the girl, his head or leg would do fine. However his chest could stop him from running or entirely. She shot there. At the very least they’d have to stop as he falls to the ground unless the unharmed idiot leaves his friends. Paige pulled her gaze from the poor souls who decided to attack them to Cat and anyone who may follow.
However she didn’t speak, just looked at them. Whether she wanted to admit it or not, she was scared they’d tell her to leave or seem upset at her return. Though then her eyes went back to the teens, she could stop them if they kept running...at this point she was kind of in the way.
