I. The state of undergoing pain, distress, or hardship. The state where your flesh becomes the walls of thorns, with vines tangled all over your rib cage—piercing you, twisting you, making you breathless and speechless. No storms from your bloodshot eyes can take down the fire that rages within you, like the dying stars of hollow night. No hurricanes from your bruised hands can tear away the chains that clings onto you, as if you were cursed for being just a Human. The state where you can hope it will all go away, but hoping only burns.
II. Being subjected to the influences of people who dresses up as monsters, baring all teeth and claws, all terror and pride. While they use words and weapons that can bring down groups and nations, not only does Humans kill, but so do Mother Nature who can bring down the whole world from her wail to a flash of her wicked grin. Unlike Humans, Mother Nature, draped with starlights and sunlights, beautifully crafted as a divinity, have always conquered over the kingdoms of lands that are made out of organs and bones.
III. The realization that nothing ever ends poetically as we make them to be. There is just death.
