[div style="width: 260px; min-height: 270px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; color: #000"]Cat was back. The NPC that brought her the news got a startled look from her. Why wouldn't they just come see her? She stood up, suddenly worried, when the NPC elaborated. She was supposed to get their box of bandannas and necklaces and other markers and bring it to the casino. A meeting? Now? The urgency did nothing to soothe her concerns, but she headed over to Cat's house and picked up the parcel, then followed the NPC to the casino.
There they were, sprawled out on their back on a billiard table. Even from the entrance she could tell that they were hurt very badly indeed. The box nearly slipped out of her hands, but Molly managed to keep her grip on it as she walked over to them. "Scott are you -" She was cut off by the Boss holding up a bandaged arm. "I'm fine." Their voice was firm, but she knew them too well to miss the weariness and tightness to it. "I'll explain in a minute. Put the box down." Reluctantly she set the box next to them and retreated a few steps. As much as she wanted to mother them right now, she knew they'd react badly to it.
"Did I miss any joiners?" She shook her head, then realized they wouldn't be able to see from where they were laying down. "No." They shifted a little and visibly winced. "Good, good. Anything else?" She wondered why they were asking her, not Gavril or Mordecai. Those were the people that they had left in charge, after all. Maybe she was just more convenient in the moment. She pursed her lips. "No." A faint smile twisted its way onto their features. "Know any other words?" Well. At least they hadn't gotten their humor beaten out of them. "No." They scoffed, smile growing for a moment before a long sigh escaped their lips. At least they were amused by the situation.
