♔  The crumble of Los Santos had hit Ves pretty hard- he had finally felt like he was in control, and then it all just slipped through his fingers. He had finally got with his brother again, but then the city seemed to just collapse. The brothers had to move somewhere else, and that somewhere else was right at Badlands' gates. Well...lack thereof. Metaphorically. Ves stood where he assumed the border was, looking down at the city. He was tired, but he felt like this would be a great spot to start again. He leaned against a rock to catch his breath, patting through his vest for a flask with one hand, the other holding onto his cat, but his attention was interrupted by Axel handing him a bottle of water.

♔  Ves' face dropped at the sight of the bottle, but he snatched it from his brother's hands anyway and chugged it. He poured a bit into the bottle's cap and placed it on the ground, letting Twinkie, who had been hiding in Ves' vest, down onto the ground so she could have a drink. Ves resumed the bottle before throwing it on the ground after he finished it off. Axel let out a noise of distraught and bent down to pick the bottle up, scolding Ves for both finishing off the only bottle of water they had, and also littering. Ves rolled his eyes and waved his hand and continued on the trek towards the town.

♔  "I have a bad feeling about this- what if they don't let us in?" Axel's question had fallen on deaf ears as Ves kept marching after picking Twinkie back up.

♔  Axel heaved a sigh and shoved the bottle into his bag and followed after--nowhere else to go but forward. Ves hummed and drummed his fingers on his sides as he strutted up towards the first street he laid his eyes on. He had visited months ago, and wondered if anyone who had either been there to greet him, or had previously been in Los Santos would recognize him. He waved towards someone when he passed them, but kept going, trying to see if he could find someone large and in charge to meet. Axel greeted everyone they passed with a tiny wave and a polite smile.
