& honestly if anyone sees this and has any tips for writing and developing worlds / ideas / characters and honestly just Create Things in general ( when you're highly unmotivated and stressed [ but writing is your go-to to destress yet you can't ,, write lmao ] ) , please ?? post them here , that would be Amazing . bc i really want to be able to write and develop my characters n stuff when i'm stressed bc it's helped in the past , and it just feels good to Actually Develop worlds / ideas / characters .

• && tell me what inspires you !! give me songs , aesthetics , whatever that gets your Creative Juices flowing and helps you when you're writing , developing , and trying to think of new ideas . i love hearing about what inspires and helps other people , and i know firsthand that it feels so nice to tell someone else what inspires me !

i just have so many ideas in my head , and such a Yearn and Urge to develop some characters , but i just can't seem to do it ?? like i want to so bad , and sometimes i'll even sit down with a google doc open so Ready to write , but then i just ,,,, Don't lmao . i dunno if it's because i'm super stressed or what but ('''': ( part of it is probably because of my Need For Validation , and i know that most of the time i definitely won't get that validation and Love so it kinda discourages me , but i feel like that happens to everyone ?? so i try not to let it discourage me too much but even then it's like i physically can't write lmao ?? ? )

&& part of the reason i'm even making this post is bc i really want to start a novel , possibly even a series . i have a very tiny inkling of an idea forming in the back of my mind and i Need to Write it , it's eating away at me lmao . i've wanted to be an author since i was like six but even if i do end up writing a full novel and it doesn't get published , i'd be disappointed but still feel pretty good because i actually wrote something that's not just a oneshot or tiny drabble ( not that those aren't great , because they are !! ) yk ?

this might be a little late but i have a few myself
1) see your ideal life and project it onto your characters. i wished i was an only
child with a younger sibling to take care of, so i made ximena. i think being a music producer would be cool, so i made jazlene. and the inspiration to keep going with them comes from the drive to be them, in a sense
2) start with the oneshots and drabbles! challenge to come up with a new plotline and characters for each one and if you find some you like, you can turn that into your novel, which i can’t wait to read )
