Ada was probably lucky that it was Mike who had come across her, and not one of the less savory members of the Badlands. The group tended to attract some less than ideal persons, some who were hiding out, on the run, and such. And it was a haven to them, Mike wasn't going to crack down on them, as they did make up the bulk of the Badlands populous, and, he had done his fair share of unsavory things himself.
He'd decided to take a morning walk on the beach, arm still in a sling. The entry point of the bullet wound in his shoulder was red and aggravated, and he was planning to head over to Northstar, Luce would know what to do, and it was another reason he needed to head there, the second reason being that he needed to inform the group of the change in leadership.
Northstar was a group with which he wanted to cultivate a trade agreement. Import for export kind of thing. He was sure Green wouldn't trust him, but he didn't need the younger man to trust him. The dark haired man stopped as he spotted Ada, tilting his head slightly to the side. He didn't recognize her, and he could recognize most persons in the group by sight, most, not all.
He bent his steps towards the young woman, his good hand resting on the pistol which was in it's holster, he had undone the security strap so it would be easier to get to. "Hello there ma'am. What brings you to these parts?" The former soldier inquired amiably. He even had a smile on his face. It was a bit of a strained smile, but there was no animosity in it.

MICHAEL FORD
Michael Ford is a 45 year old, man, he's stubbornly loyal to whatever cause he chooses, protective of his family and friends, he's a member of the Badlands. Michael has issues controlling his anger in most situations. He is a difficult opponent and well trained, feel free to power play nonviolent interactions though.
