Uhhh,, in terms of phones I'd actually vastly recommend android products over apple?? Apple has a long history of fucking over their customers and manipulating older versions of their phone just so that you either have to replace them with their new models or get entire parts replaced. Honestly all companies are evil but Apple is particularly so lmao
I've had an android phone since I've been allowed to have a phone, which is several years ago, and it was a several year old hand me down to begin with, so the fact that it has lasted this long is particularly impressive. If you're worried about cost, I'd recommend getting a few models back?? I haven't gotten a new one in a while so I'm not up to date on android models, but I know that a few numbers or letters or whatever the fuck back still works very well and is not as expensive as one of the newer ones may be, especially an iPhone because those are just,, fucking unreasonable beyond all means
