Booker is known for his frown. The earnest, humorless furrow of his eyebrows is one which indicates to everyone else that he is not a man to mess with. Despite his stoic expression, Booker has always been a cutthroat, barbaric man who feels the most comfortable when he acts as an authoritative figure. He is very meticulous and efficient in his ways of thinking and spends the majority of his time thinking about how he can get closer to achieving his goals. His mind is constantly ticking like clockwork, believing that any sign of laziness on his part equals inefficiency, and
everyone knows that he is a very goal-orientated man with a one-track-mind. Anything which gets in the way of this will be considered a sabotage according to Mr Black, and he will do anything he can to ensure that nothing will step in his way. If anything
was to get in his way, he'd be more than happy to tear it down like a wolf bringing down its prey.
He is a very self-confident man - not arrogant, however - and he acknowledges his capabilities as well as his weak spots. Being a very stubborn and strong-willed man, he simply refuses to give up even when times get rough; he'd rather die than give up on his goals. If you were to ask if he thought with his brain or his heart, he'd simply chuckle,
"Of course I think with my brain. I have no heart to think with." He is a painfully logical man and an excellent strategic thinker. If anything, one of his most major downfalls would be that he thinks of things so logically that he simply does not ever consider how it may affect the people in the outcome; quite honestly, people are his chess pieces to play with, they aren't
that valuable to him, anyway. He is a typical megalomaniac, obsessed with the idea of the power he wishes to possess.
His confidence and willpower can quite often go too far, and he is all too capable of digging in his heels stubbornly to prevent anyone else from swaying him from his ultimate goal. To him, it's '
my way or the highway' and he is notoriously skeptical of any idea that distracts him from his primary goals. He wouldn't hesitate for one moment to make that fact clear to the others.
It is very rare for him to remain loyal to somebody, though to those in higher positions than him, he can respect him and, though he may grit his teeth, he will follow through with their orders. In his mind, though, he believes that he belongs in the same or higher level of hierarchy with those in high positions than him and so may come across as pushy when he attempts to influence decisions. Though he doesn't treat those in the same or lower ranks than him very well, he is incredibly loyal to the Badlands.
He is so obsessed with efficiency and his unwavering belief of rationalism means that he is a very intense and insensitive man who couldn't give a flying fuck about anybody else's sensitives.
"I don’t care if you call me an insensitive bastard, as long as I remain an efficient bastard," He would tell people with delight. And by
delight, he means speaking with that stoic, God-damned frown that he is so well known for.
