BREIF HISTORY val was born in feburary in bastille, paris to two poor-but-not-dying-poor parents into the wrong body. val's father was nearly constantly verbally and emotionally abusive and occasionally physically abusive and the only reason his mother, eloise tolerated it was to provide for him. but when val started learning about what gender was in this society and insisting to his mother that he was a boy she knew she had to get out. she told him that she believed him and that everything would be okay but that they needed to keep it a secret from his dad because he was bad and they needed to leave. and so they did, a couple months later. they moved to america and a couple years later she helped him change his name to something masculine they settled on together and start blockers and eventually testosterone.
