He sighed, but nodded, staying put.
Once Connor had entered the room that Hank was in, he froze a bit. He stared over at Hank’s motionless body. He was hooked to so many different machines. The sight of this alone was already intimidating Connor. The nurse glanced at Connor. “I’ll leave you alone for a few minutes.†She said. She then left the room. Connor didn’t even seem to notice she had left. He slowly approached the older male, hesitantly reaching out and resting his hand on Hank’s, his fingers lightly brushing against his wrist.
“...Lieutenant ?†Connor asked quietly, as if hoping to get some response. Nothing. Connor tensed up a bit, looking the other over. “Hank?†Connor asked again, his voice cracking. Again, nothing. Connor’s breath hitches and he looked down, keeping a hold of Hank’s hand. He just focused on Hank’s faint pulse he felt in Hank’s wrist. It was reassurance he was still alive.
