Jesse blinked, offering a faint smile and waving. “Hey there.” He greeted. After a minute, Jesse glanced at Genji. “I’ll let you two catch up and give you some privacy.” Jesse murmured, smiling. That wasn’t a lie. They needed time alone. But he mostly wanted to head inside since the sun was setting and it was becoming darker out. And, he had a fear
Of the dark now. It may be childish, but he couldn’t help it. Already he was feeling himself becoming more uncomfortable and anxious.

Jesse turned, heading on inside. Once there, he moved off, walking for a bit. He didn’t seem to notice the faint tremor that was passing through his body. He stopped walking when he spotted Moira. She was still wandering freely about.

“Ah Mccree. How are you feeling?” Moira asked.

“...Fine.” Jesse whispered, his voice barely above a whisper. “W...Where’s Gabe?” Jesse asked.

“Most likely with Jack as always.” She said. She then glanced him over, sighing. “Mccree, you need to start becoming more self reliant. Gabe and Jack aren’t always going to be here for you. And it’s best you stop thinking of Gabe as a dad. You’re not family. So it’s best to forget about that now so it won’t hirt later should we lose him.” Moira said.

Jesse glanced down, frowning. He then pushed past her, heading off to Jack and Gabe’s room. Once there, he gently knocked on the door.
